This is a pension scheme operating under a Board of Trustees set up under RBA Regulations.
Board of Trustees
The Board consists of A Chairperson, Trust Secretary and other trustees representing the Sponsor (Telkom Kenya Ltd.), Pensioners and former workers.
Secretariat
The Secretariat consists of the Administrator/Trust Secretary, Finance and Accounts Staff, IT staff, Pension Administration staff as well as support staff.

OUR HISTORY
Scheme was established with effect from 1 July 1997 and the Fund with effect from 1 July 1999 as part of the restructuring of the former KP&TC.
Participating employers were TKL, PCK, CCK.
TKL had three associate body’s GTI, KCCT and Safaricom. -
Amended Scheme
Amended Scheme was implemented with effect from 30 November 2007 as part of the restructuring and privatization of TKL.
The scheme was closed to new entrants and to future accrual of benefits and no contributions are payable other than contributions from the Sponsor for funding purposes.
The Amended Scheme covers the pensioners, beneficiaries and deferred pensioners.
